Justin Bieber’s pals fear ‘stress’ of fatherhood may break him as his ‘rock’ Hailey focuses on mom duties

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Justin Bieber’s new status as a father may be causing upheaval in his life, claims the ‘Baby’ singer’s friends. 

The 30-year-old singer, who rose to astronomical fame as a child artist, had sparked concerns previously because of his gaunt appearance. In July, he also courted controversies when he appeared to have snapped at fans who tried to click photos of him. 

His friends now worry that the Grammy winner may be on the verge of a breakdown because of the immense pressure that comes with the responsibility of becoming a father.

Justin Bieber facing 'pressure' of fatherhood

Justin Bieber embraced fatherhood for the first time when he welcomed son Jack Blues with his wife Hailey Bieber, 27, on August 24 this year.

While fatherhood is undoubtedly an occasion that calls for joy, Justin is reportedly also stressing about taking care of and protecting the baby. 

A source close to the singer shared with In Touch, “Justin already has a hard time coping with life in the spotlight, so the worry is the stress of having a child to take care of and protect will be more than he can handle!” 

Referencing the time when the ‘That Should Be Me’ singer snapped at his fans in the lobby of Beverly Hills, the insider explained that at that time he was dealing with the “anxiety” of becoming a father. 

He was, in fact, having trouble eating and sleeping altogether. 

“He used to enjoy his fans and all the attention that comes with his fame. But now it just seems to upset him, and the fear is part of that is all the pressure he’s facing at home,” shared the source. 

The insider also feared that Justin could explode anytime soon with Hailey focusing on her duties as a mother more. 

“Hailey’s been his rock — but now she’s got to make being a mother a priority!” shared the source. 

The insider revealed that the Rhode Beauty founder had previously calmed her husband’s aggravated nerves when she was pregnant as well. 

But now that she has a baby, her motherly duties are her priority.

“There are now worries the pressure of being new parents could push their marriage to the point of no return," said the source.

Justin Bieber's friends worry about his financial condition

Mental health is not the only thing that Justin Bieber's friends are worried about. A source close to the couple shared with In Touch in June, that the singer was cash-strapped and had to take a commercial flight in May due to his dwindling bank account.

The source shared, “While they always fly private, Justin simply couldn’t afford it this time. He spends more money than he’s got coming in, and is now having to cut back on certain luxuries.”

Justin, who sold his entire music catalog for $200 million in 2023, hasn't toured since 2022 and released his last album in 2021. 

The source added that his frivolous use of wealth is also causing friction with his wealth management team.

“They recently advised him against buying Hailey a $700K diamond ring, so he applied for a loan. But the loan was denied and he purchased it anyway,” said the source, also noting, “If Justin doesn’t make some changes soon, he could lose everything. He is going to go broke.”

Justin also broke his business relationship with his financial manager Lou Taylor.
