LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Kacey Musgraves seemed rather "unimpressed" as Beyonce clinched Best Country Album at the 67th Grammy Awards on Sunday, February 2.

Beyonce received the award from pop icon Taylor Swift for her work on her latest album 'Cowboy Carter' and she appeared shocked when Swift opened the envelope and shouted 'Cowboy Carter!', according to Daily Mail.

Notably, Musgraves was also nominated in the category for 'Deeper Well'. The singer did win a Grammy in the category Best Country Song for 'The Architect'.

Beyonce, who had 11 nominations in this year's Grammys, said after accepting the award from Swift, "Oh, my God. Wow. I really was not expecting this. Wow. I want to thank God. Oh, my God. That I am able to still do what I love after so many years."

She continued, "Oh, my God. I would like to thank all of the incredible country artists that accepted this album. We worked so hard on it."

The songstress added, "I think sometimes, genre is a cold word to keep us in our place as artists, and I just want to encourage people to do what they're passionate about. And to stay persistent. Wow. I'd like to thank my beautiful family. All of the artists that were collaborators."

She concluded her speech, "Thank you. This wouldn’t have been this album without you. I'd like to thank God, again, and my fans. I still am in shock, so thank you so much for this honor."

Notably, Beyonce was snubbed by the Country Music Association Awards in September 2024 and her Grammy win in this category was a shock for many people, according to Daily Mail.
