WASHINGTON, DC: Vice President Kamala Harris's campaign team sent birthday wishes to Senator JD Vance (R-Ohio) on his 40th birthday on Friday, August 2.

Last month, former President Donald Trump selected Vance to be his running mate for the upcoming November elections.

However, the introduction didn't go as planned, as Vance became the first VP pick since at least 2000 to leave his party's convention with a negative favorability rating of -6. The following week, his favorability rating fell further to -15, according to Mediaite.

Democrats have been sharing videos of Vance making disparaging remarks about "childless cat ladies" and other childless Americans, implying they lack a direct stake in the country.

Additionally, the Ohio Senator suggested that parents should receive an extra vote for each of their children. On Friday night, the Harris campaign extended birthday greetings to the 40-year-old former venture capitalist and author of the best-selling book 'Hillbilly Elegy.'

What did Kamala Harris’ team tweet to JD Vance on his birthday?

The tweet from Kamala HQ started with, “Happy Birthday to JD Vance.”

“At 78 and 40, Donald Trump and his sidekick, the most unpopular VP pick in American history, are running on an agenda to drag our country backwards, reverse the progress we’ve made, and ensure Americans have fewer freedoms in the next generation than they had in the last,” the statement read.

“Voters won’t stand for it, and it’s why they’re already rejecting the Trump-Vance Project 2025 agenda to rip away our freedoms, jack up costs on the middle class, and fan the flames of hatred and division. While we wish JD a happy 40th, the American people will make certain that he celebrates his 41st anywhere but the White House,” it added.

On Thursday, JD Vance called Vice President Kamala Harris “a chameleon.”

“Kamala Harris is a chameleon,” the Ohio Senator told CNN. “She goes to Georgia two days ago. She was raised in Canada, she puts on a fake southern accent. She is everything to everybody and she pretends to be somebody different depending on which audience she’s in front of.”

It is to be noted that Senator JD Vance was once one of former President Trump’s harshest critics, claiming that the 78-year-old MAGA strongman “might be America’s Hitler.”
