HARRISBURG, PENNSYLVANIA: During a campaign rally in Harrisburg on Wednesday, former president Donald Trump dwelled on President Joe Biden's age and mentioned a February report that examined Biden's handling of classified information.

In the report, Special Counsel Robert Hur described President Biden as a "sympathetic, well-meaning, elderly man with a poor memory."

The 2024 Republican presidential nominee pointed out that the 81-year-old POTUS is "not old" during his 90-minute speech, according to Newsweek.

What did Donald Trump say regarding Joe Biden’s age during his Keystone State campaign rally?

"The special counsel, which is basically a special prosecutor, judged him to be essentially mentally incompetent with poor memory but a nice old guy," the ex-president asserted.

"He's not old. You know, 81 is not old. I have friends that are 95 that are... Bernie Marcus, founder of Home Depot, 95 years old, still sharp. I spoke to him the other day. I said, 'I think you're smarter now than you were 30 years ago.' I said what's going on?"

Subsequently, the MAGA strongman changed his tune, claiming that Biden is "different" and calling him a "bad 81-year-old" who is "destroying our country."

Throughout his time in the White House, President Joe Biden has faced significant criticism regarding his age and mental acuity.

Former president Trump, who is 78 years old, has previously suggested that he doesn't believe age is a determining factor for a potential president, stating as recently as May that Biden was "not even close" to being too old.

After increasing pressure from within the Democratic party following his dismal debate outing, President Biden exited the presidential race on July 21 and endorsed Vice President Kamala Harris, who became the party’s presumed nominee.

Trump's rally focused largely on criticizing VP Kamala Harris, with him claiming that she is "even worse" than President Joe Biden.

"She's actually worse than he is because she is real radical left, he is a faulty radical left. He didn't believe those things. He didn't believe in open borders and she does," Trump remarked.

This line of attack against the United States Vice President came a day after Kamala Harris’s team released a campaign video on immigration.

According to recent polling data, following President Biden's withdrawal from the 2024 race, concerns regarding Trump's cognitive abilities have emerged among voters. Additionally, the 59-year-old was not exempt from Trump's criticisms about her age.

"I mean she is 60 years old. I didn't realize she was 60. I thought she was a little younger. But she is 60. She is talking a big game but her game is pretty bad," Trump said during a recent interview with Laura Ingraham.
