Kanye West sparks Ozempic speculations after he appears slimmer by almost 50lbs at 2025 Grammys

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Kanye West sparked Ozempic rumors after he appeared to have lost almost 50lbs to reveal a toned figure on the red carpet of the 67th Grammy Awards. 

West, 47, and his wife Bianca Censori created quite a stir on the Grammys red carpet. The couple, who tied the knot in 2022, made their red carpet debut at music’s biggest night on Sunday, February 2.

While the event could have been remembered only for that, Censori’s bold display took it a notch above. Though the Yeezy founder and his wife have been at the receiving end of severe criticism for Censori’s shocking outfit choice, there was a section of fans who looked beyond that. 

As West, also known as Ye, appeared alongside his wife in a black ensemble, fans could not help but notice his slimmed-down figure, which subsequently gave rise to Ozempic speculations.

As Kanye West and Bianca Censori appeared on the 2025 Grammys red carpet, the rapper appeared much slimmer than last year. He evidently has lost around 50lbs.

On the red carpet when Censori stripped off her black fur coat to reveal her explicit sheer minidress, it wasn’t only the Yeezy architect’s shocking fashion choice that grabbed the attention of the viewers. 

A section of the fans also noticed that the ‘Carnival’ hitmaker was looking toned down as compared to earlier, per DailyMail.

Instead of appearing in his signature oversized hoodie and sweatpants look, West opted for a tucked-in black T-shirt and black chinos that highlighted his slimmer midsection. 

Soon, social media was filled with chatter regarding the possibility of the ‘Heartless’ rapper taking the popular weight loss drug Ozempic. 

The speculations surrounding West using a weight loss drug came amid the other conjecture which abounded the internet following Sunday’s event. 

As the couple left the venue soon after making the red carpet appearance, it was previously reported that West - who was nominated in the Best Rap Song category with Ty Dolla $Ign for their song ‘Carnival’- and Censori were escorted out by security guards. 

However, TMZ later reported that the pair was not escorted out, but rather they chose to walk out of the Crypto.com Arena. It was also clarified by People.

TMZ reported, “He walked the red carpet, got in his car of his own volition and then left ... police and Grammys security never got involved.”

The outlet further added that there were no complaints about the Australian native’s revealing outfit.

After Kanye West's red carpet appearance at the 67th Grammys on Sunday, social media was soon rife with speculations that the 'Donda' rapper has taken weight loss drug Ozempic to shed some pounds.
