WASHINGTON, DC: Karoline Leavitt lambasted MSNBC's Nicolle Wallace after she reportedly linked a teenage cancer-stricken boy to the January 6 Capitol riot.

After President Donald Trump appointed 13-year-old Devarjaye 'DJ' Daniel, who has been suffering from brain cancer since 2018, as an honorary Secret Service agent on Tuesday, March 4, Wallace immediately targeted him.

She said, as per the Daily Mail, “I hope he's alive for another 95 years and I hope he lives the life he wants to live.”

Nicolle Wallace said, “He wants to be a cop, he knows what he wants to do, and maybe when you have childhood cancer that crystallizes for you,” before stating, “I hope he has a long life as a law enforcement officer, but I hope he never has to defend the United States capitol against Donald Trump's supporters and if he does, I hope he isn't one of the six who loses his life to suicide.”

Wallace did not stop there as she added that she hoped the teenager would not have to “testify against the people who carried out acts of seditious conspiracy and then live to see Donald Trump pardon those people.”

The former White House communications director’s remarks did not go well with many, including the White House press secretary.

She fired, “The mainstream media still doesn't get it. Last night, MSNBC's Nicolle Wallace disgustingly looped in a 13-year-old boy with brain cancer into an attack on the president over January 6.”

The 27-year-old also went on to slam CNN after it reportedly called Trump’s speech to the joint session of Congress “divisive”.

She said, “President Trump wasn't divisive. The Democrats were and CNN was proven wrong by their own viewers, 69 percent of whom, in a post-speech poll said they had a positive reaction to the president's speech.”

Netizens call Nicolle Wallace ‘disgusting and vile’

People online demanded Nicolle Wallace’s termination.

An X user tweeted, “This could be the worst and most vile words that I have ever heard aired on a news channel. Nicolle Wallace is a MSNBC News anchor & she should be ashamed of herself and should resign in disgrace.”

Another user commented, “Nicolle Wallace is a hatred filled piece of scum. How this POS still has a job is beyond me.”

A third one wrote, “Nicole brings a new meaning to ‘stupid b***h’!!”

“Why does she still have a job?? She is as disgusting and vile as Rachel Madcow, Joy Reid, and Jake Tapper. The list goes on and on,” a critic posted.

“Is this now the new MSNBC low to bring on ratings. They're both finished and soon to be fired,” another critic said.

A tweet read, “She is truly ugly and should be fired.”

Another said, “Nicole Wallace should be absolutely ashamed of herself. She spoke about that little boy, I always knew she didn't have a heart but last night with those comments she proved, she doesn't even have a soul.”
