In the photograph, Kate is seen posing under a tree, looking thoughtfully into its canopy. Body language expert Judi James analyzed the image, noting significant changes in the royal's demeanor. James highlighted two key "barrier gestures" - folded arms and crossed legs - as indicators of a blend of vulnerability and newfound confidence.

James remarked, “There’s a sense of confiding in the public here – the two barrier gestures of the folded arms and crossed legs are also new for Kate. They imply an intriguing blend of vulnerability and privacy with a hint of a new-found type of confidence. Her arms are lightly folded in a pose that is often adopted by professional people to hint at authority.”

Furthermore, James observed that Kate's smile in the photo is not her usual perfect royal smile. “Her smile reveals a similar sentiment. It’s not her usual perfect royal smile. With the lips closed it suggests calm serene happiness that is inner, rather than projected." she added.

She said, "On those bad days you feel weak and tired and you have to give in to your body resting. On the days I feel well enough, it is a joy to engage with school life, spend personal time on the things that give me energy and positivity, as well as start to do a little work from home."

Kate shared that she experiences "good days and bad days" during her treatment. On good days, she finds joy in participating in school and personal activities that energize and uplift her.

However, on bad days, she prioritizes rest to accommodate her body's needs

Reflecting on the photograph, James observed that Kate's casual attire of jeans and trainers suggests she is proceeding "at a measured pace" in her return to royal duties.

She said, "With the jeans and trainers this seems to be a Kate who is still taking things slowly in terms of her return to royal life."

Kate Middleton, the Princess of Wales, has provided an update on her health during her ongoing cancer treatment, expressing appreciation for the support she has received and confirming her intention to attend King Charles' birthday parade.

In her Instagram post on June 14, Kate wrote, "I have been blown away by all the kind messages of support and encouragement over the last couple of months. It really has made the world of difference to William and me and has helped us both through some of the harder times."

She added, "I am making good progress, but as anyone going through chemotherapy will know, there are good days and bad days. On those bad days, you feel weak and tired and you have to give in to your body resting. But on the good days, when you feel stronger, you want to make the most of feeling well."

Kate also reflected on activities that bring her joy and positivity, stating, "My treatment is ongoing and will be for a few more months. On the days I feel well enough, it is a joy to engage with school life, spend personal time on the things that give me energy and positivity, as well as start to do a little work from home."

Confirming her upcoming public appearance, Kate said, "I’m looking forward to attending The King’s Birthday Parade this weekend with my family and hope to join a few public engagements over the summer, but equally knowing I am not out of the woods yet."

She concluded with a note on her approach to recovery, "I am learning how to be patient, especially with uncertainty. Taking each day as it comes, listening to my body, and allowing myself to take this much-needed time to heal."
