SPAIN, MEXICO: In a bizarre tribute to Katy Perry, a fan pulled out strands of the singer's hair extensions from behind without her noticing it and later framed it on the wall.

Based on her Instagram, the 'Firework' hitmaker seems to have been in Mexico at the time of the occurrence, where Perry danced on stage in front of a crowd of adoring fans, per UNILAD.

An astute observer noticed a loose hair extension dangling behind the singer, who had her dark hair down, as Perry danced to Madonna's 'Hung Up' while enjoying a drink.

Then a picture purportedly displayed the same lock framed on the wall with the words "Katy Perry's hair extension" written under it.

The 'Firework' singer recently announced that her Lifetimes Tour will begin in April 2025 and feature performances in Brazil, Argentina, Chile, and Mexico City, Monterrey, and Guadalajara.

Perry's upcoming Lifetimes arena tour will include her first complete UK tour in seven years. She will perform at five locations across the United Kingdom in October 2025: Glasgow, Manchester, Sheffield, Birmingham, and London, per Billboard.

According to the announcement, the Lifetimes Tour will feature "career-spanning run of live shows, including all the hits from across her multi-million selling albums."

Additionally, Perry revealed that the Music Venue Trust, a group that promotes and supports local music scenes and venues across the United Kingdom, will receive £1 from each ticket sold during the tour's UK leg.

"I’m proud to donate £1 from every ticket on the U.K. leg of The Lifetimes Tour to Music Venue Trust so that venues like Water Rats and Scala, where I played my first UK shows, can continue to usher in the next generation of music talent," she said.

Perry released her seventh studio album, '143', in September which peaked at 6th place on the Billboard 200 and the Official Albums Chart in the United Kingdom, her lowest ranking in more than ten years.
