The 40-year-old pop star was singing her hit track 'Roar' while standing on a giant fake butterfly when the prop suddenly dropped several feet above the audience.

Videos shared by fans on X showed Katy Perry momentarily pausing to steady herself before continuing with the performance.

The near fall occurred during the final moments of the concert at the Chase Center, which Perry managed to complete without further issues.

On Saturday, she shared a screenshot of her surprised expression from the incident on Instagram with the caption, “Good Night San Fran.”

Katy Perry’s incident followed a similar moment during one of her Australia shows, where a flying sphere tilted midair, prompting her to cling to its supporting wires, as seen in another viral clip.

Beyonce experienced a related scare at her 'Cowboy Carter' tour in Houston last month when a flying-car prop malfunctioned.

“If ever I fall, I know y’all will catch me,” Beyonce told the crowd after briefly pausing her performance.
