Beyonce's country album called 'cash grab' as insiders claim Jay-Z used his power to help her win Grammys

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Beyonce’s debut country album 'Cowboy Carter' made history by topping the charts and earning major Grammy recognition — but reports say the country music world has once again shut her out.
Months after being snubbed by the Country Music Association Awards, Beyonce has now been shut out by the Academy of Country Music too, receiving zero nominations.
ACM voters reject Beyonce despite 'Cowboy Carter' success
Despite topping the charts with Cowboy Carter, Beyonce was completely left off the Academy of Country Music Awards nomination list.
Megan Moroney, Jelly Roll, Zach Top, Post Malone, and Lainey Wilson all made the cut for top album — but not Beyonce.

“Industry professionals still aren't buying Beyonce as a country artist, they see the record as a cash grab,” one insider told RadarOnline.
November’s CMA Awards gave her no recognition either, prompting questions about potential bias.
Jay-Z accused of pulling strings as 'Cowboy Carter' sweeps top Grammy categories
When 'Cowboy Carter' won both Best Country Album and Album of the Year at the Grammys in February, it raised eyebrows within the industry.
According to the source of the publication, there was talk that Jay-Z may have played a role behind the scenes.
“With her Grammy Awards, everyone heard the talk about Jay-Z using his powerful position in music to ramrod his wife through in scoring her trophies – so that held no sway,” said the source.

Beyonce disheartened by cool reception from country music elites
The repeated snubs from country music's biggest institutions have reportedly left Beyonce discouraged.
While fans embraced 'Cowboy Carter', she hasn't felt the same support from country artists or executives.

“This latest snub really hit Beyonce's heart," added the source. "She loves country music and fans went crazy over Cowboy Carter, but she's not feeling the love from other country artists and industry bigwigs."
It's even when "she brought so many of her fans into their world and only made country stronger,” the source continued.
“At this point, she says screw it, she's got too much pride to try to kiss up to these folks when they clearly don't want her around,” the source concluded.
