WASHINGTON, DC: President Joe Biden took a dig at Donald Trump as the latter seemed to mix up former Speaker Nancy Pelosi's name with that of Nikki Haley at a New Hampshire campaign stop, as per The Hill.

On Friday, January 19, the former POTUS was reiterating his claims regarding the supposed security failures at the Capitol during the January 6, 2021, insurrection when he mentioned Haley's name instead of Pelosi's.

Responding to Trump's confused remarks, Biden wrote on X, "I don't agree with Nikki Haley on everything, but we agree on this much: She is not Nancy Pelosi." The president also attached a campaign ad on the social media post emphasizing the concerns about the Republican frontrunner's cognitive fitness.

The Biden campaign effectively used Trump's recent gaffe to retort to consistent attacks questioning the president's fitness for reelection.

The one-minute-eight-second ad featured a compilation of remarks from Haley addressing Trump's accusations regarding Capitol security on January 6, 2021, along with the former POTUS' numerous incoherent rants.

Responding to the confused remarks, the former South Carolina Governor said that she was not in the office at the time and expressed doubt over Trump's fitness to run for the presidency.

The GOP frontrunner seemed to be less affected by the remarks of his opponents. During a rally on Saturday, Trump claimed, "I feel my mind is stronger now than it was 25 years ago. Is that possible?"

Notably, it has come down to a one-on-one match between Trump and Haley after Ron DeSantis pulled out of the 2024 race. Both seemingly look forward to the New Hampshire primary, scheduled for January 23.

One wrote, "Well done keep it coming," and another noted, "Joe is on his A game today."

A person remarked, "This is the hardest Biden has ever cooked Trump , this is literally something Trump would cook Biden on lol . The roles have reversed."

"Interesting to see Biden turn the age issue around against Trump. He is certainly vulnerable," mentioned someone else.

An individual exclaimed, "Oh my God. This new Biden ad should be aired nationwide."
