PALM BEACH, FLORIDA: Nikki Haley, a potential Republican nominee for the 2024 presidential race, has refused to withdraw her candidacy, for the time being.

Despite finishing second in the GOP’s New Hampshire primary, she delivered an optimistic concession speech and pledged to remain in the race until the South Carolina primary later this month.

Her speech, however, has attracted criticism from former President Donald Trump and his ardent supporter base, who have falsely accused Haley of declaring victory in New Hampshire.

Donald Trump’s son Eric, appeared on Sean Hannity's show on Fox News and voiced similar apprehensions regarding the former South Carolina governor, alleging that she must be backed by very deep pockets to remain in contention for the GOP presidential race after his father handsomely put away his Republican rivals in Iowa and New Hampshire.

What did Eric Trump say during his interview with Sean Hannity?

Eric Trump appeared on Fox News and claimed that Nikki Haley is staying put to play spoilsport and increase the incumbent President Joe Biden’s chances in the upcoming November elections, as per Rolling Stone.

“I mean, Sean, at this point, I truly believe she's being paid or something to be in the race as a pure spoiler, and the party should not put up with that,” Eric stated.

Former Trump campaign manager Kellyanne Conway, who is now a contributor to Fox News, shared with Sean Hannity that Haley ought to withdraw from the race in light of Trump's victory in Iowa and New Hampshire, otherwise, she would be deemed guilty of "election denial."

“This is a democracy, a constitutional republic, we must respect the will of the people — and Nikki Haley can’t become an election denier,” Conway remarked, adding. “She’s been rejected, she can say tonight [that] she came in second, or you can say she came in last.”

Similar criticism of Haley was leveled by fellow Fox News host Mark Levin, who claimed that she had delivered a “classless and dishonest speech” in a post on X, the platform that was formerly known as Twitter.

Levin wrote, “She keeps claiming victory when she loses. She gave her statement early to spin her media advocates. She stands for nothing but her own self-aggrandizement.”

It is important to note that Nikki Haley did not assert her triumph in New Hampshire; in fact, she even extended congratulations to Trump on his victory during her concession speech.

However, the notion that she had emerged victorious rapidly gained traction on right-wing social media platforms, possibly in an attempt to coalesce the whole party under former President Donald Trump after he blew his GOP rivals out of the water in Iowa and New Hampshire primaries.

Internet ridicules Eric Trump for accusing Nikki Haley of being complicit in helping Democrats

Despite no evidence to support their wild allegations, Trump’s inner circle and close associates have ramped up their attacks on Nikki Haley after the former President won Tuesday’s Granite State primary with a double-digit percentile point lead over the former UN ambassador, and people on X sure do have something to say about that.

One X user remarked: “His tears taste delicious."

Another user quipped: "Fact Checking... CONCLUSION: If true, what's wrong with that? Fact Check Completed."

Another user suggested: "Shouldn't somebody remind Eric that there's a strong likelihood of conviction for serious crimes and that the Republican Party will want to be represented by Nikki Haley or some other candidate regardless of the slim chance of victory?"

One user argued: "And your daddy is in the race to avoid prison and bankruptcy."

Another X user wrote: "News flash: Eric Trump doesn’t know what a spoiler is… or anything else about politics and government."

Finally, this user tweeted: "If this is "truly" legitimate...although it's coming from a Trump, then keep paying her. Stress Trump out as much as she can."
