'Keep shining Meg!' Internet lauds Meghan Markle for supporting friend Kelly McKee's 'Alliance of Moms' initiative
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Meghan Markle joined her pals Kelly McKee Zajfen and Abigail Spencer to support the ‘Alliance of Moms’ initiative.
The co-founder of the NGO, which aims to assist pregnant women and parenting teens living in the foster care system, sported the same tee as her friends, ‘Love Like a Mother'.
"When we speak about the people in our lives who lift us up when you need it with undeniable force of pure love, I think of these two. You inspire me. You pick me up when I need it and you Love Like A Mother! ❤️🩹," Zajfen wote in her Instagram Story.
What is ‘Alliance of Moms?’
The post was also shared on her personal page, promoting the family-focused initiative that started in 2014.
She further wrote, "Thank you for continuing to support the @allianceofmoms. For supporting this campaign and our youth. In doing so, you are supporting the mission to build bright futures for young parents who have experienced foster care."
"In honor of Mother’s Day, I hope YOU support this campaign, and #LOVELIKEAMOTHER," she added, as per People.
The money collected from the t-shirt sales will directly help in offering essential services, healthcare, education, and advocacy for young parents in foster care and their children.
The alliance of Mothers also supports the work of ‘The Alliance for Children’s Rights', a nonprofit offering free legal services and advocacy for caregivers, adoptive parents, children, and teens in the foster care system in LA.
Meghan is a proud mother to Prince Archie, 4, and daughter Princess Lilibet, 2.
