Kelly Clarkson gets emotional as she recalls her two difficult pregnancies, says it was 'just the worst'
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Kelly Clarkson got emotional as she shared her harrowing experiences with pregnancy.
During a conversation with guest Hillary Clinton on her show 'The Kelly Clarkson Show' on Monday, April 15, Clarkson opened up about her hospitalization while pregnant and also about the near-total abortion reinstated by the Arizona Supreme Court.

Hillary Clinton comforts Kelly Clarkson, says she is speaking for 'millions of women'
On the show, Clarkson recalled the difficulty she experienced during her pregnancy as she said, “I have been pregnant twice, hospitalized both times."
”I mean, literally, I asked God, this is a real thing, 'to just take me and my son,' in the hospital the second time because I was like, it's the worst thing … I didn’t know I’d get emotional, sorry …”
She then took a moment to pause as she got emotional, while Clinton commended her for speaking out on behalf of "millions of women" as she said, "It’s okay, because you're speaking for so many."
"You’re speaking for literally millions of women in our country and around the world," she added.
The singer who is mother to nine-year-old daughter, River, and eight-year-old son, Remy then continued saying, "And it, um, it was just the worst … To make someone go through that — whew."

Kelly Clarkson expresses disagreement with Arizona's abortion ban
Reflecting on Arizona's abortion ban, the 76-year-old politician said, "There’s a cruelty toward women, towards women's lives."
The Grammy Award winner then added to Clinton's comment as she said, “And you don't realize how hard it is. The fact that you would take that away from someone."
"That it can literally kill them. The fact if they're raped … by their family member … and they have to — like that, it's just like insane to me," she added.

Clarkson previously explained her difficult second pregnancy.
In a 2015 interview with CBS' 'This Morning', the mother-of-two said she was having “really bad” all-day sickness which she experienced during her first pregnancy as well.
Clarkson said she had “to get IVs and fluids because I get so dehydrated,” according to People.
On 'The Ellen DeGeneres Show' in 2016, the songwriter reflected on her decision to undergo surgery to prevent further pregnancies, along with her now ex-husband Brandon Blackstock.
Speaking on 'Cubby and Carolina in the Morning', Clarkson said, “I always feel bad because I have friends who have a hard time getting pregnant and I'm just like 'Guys, I have the worst pregnancies ever, it can't happen again!' "
