Now, she told Extra, “I know everybody thinks I took Ozempic. I did not take Ozempic. I don’t know where that came from. My mom took Ozempic.”

Kelly Osbourne says people 'hate' Ozempic because they ‘can’t afford it’

This came months after the 39-year-old singer reportedly said this about Ozempic, “I think it’s amazing. There are a million ways to lose weight. Why not do it through something that isn’t as boring as working out?”

She also mentioned at the time, “People hate on it because they want to do it. And the people who hate on it the most are the people who are secretly doing it or pissed off that they can’t afford it.”

Sharon Osbourne admitted to using Ozempic

Kelly's mother Sharon Osbourne has been honest about taking Ozempic as she reportedly lost 40 pounds.

The 71-year-old said, “I was very sick for a couple of months. The first couple of months, I just felt nauseous. Every day I felt nauseous, my stomach was upset, whatever.”

However, the music manager asserted, “I don’t regret it. Everything with weight with me was, ‘I want it now.’ The injections that I was on worked, but it just seems that now I can’t put anything on really.”

Internet slams Kelly Osbourne after she denies using Ozempic

Meanwhile, Kelly was criticized by people online after she disclosed that there was no connection between her and Ozempic.

A person commented below the Page Six article, “Yes, you CAN lose weight dropping the sugar. But her weight loss seems unnatural. No muscle mass.”

Another person said, “How can someone - who has been severely overweight for decades - lose 85 pounds - in 2 months - and say it's not Ozempic?”

The third one shared, “Didn't Kelly have gastric sleeve surgery a few years back? Weight loss pharmaceutical use has been normalized by celebrities and physicians alike... Why deny it at this point? She does have ‘Ozempic face’ though....”

The fourth user stated, “She's not fooling anyone. She definitely took some sort of drug to lose 80+ pounds in a few months. Her face is sunken in.”

“Oh sorry it wasn't specifically Ozempic, it was another GLP1 medication. We have known Kelly to lie for years why would this be different,” the fifth one added.
