Kelly Rizzo celebrates late husband Bob Saget's would-be 68th birthday, shares 'cute' last B-day story

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Kelly Rizzo shared a heartfelt tribute to his late husband Bob Saget on what would have been his 68th birthday.

In the Instagram post on Friday, May 17, the TV host who tied the knot with Saget in 2018 shared a video of her late husband as she reflected on their last celebration together.

The video Rizzo shared featured Saget celebrating his birthday as they went out to dinner for the occasion.

"Forever celebrated, forever loved, forever remembered, forever in all of our hearts. Happy Birthday," she captioned the post.

"Forever grateful for these memories, and this last birthday celebration together. Forever happy I got to see a smile on his face and happiness in his eyes. Look at how happy he was," she wrote.

The stand-up comedian could be seen smiling warmly as he accepted a slice of cake with a sparkler, a memory Rizzo treasures deeply.

Sharing an anecdote from the dinner night, Rizzo wrote, "I will tell you a cute story about this night. During dinner, he got a mosquito bite and kept scratching it until it bled."

She recalled the 'Full House' star approaching the front desk and how "four different restaurant workers frantically got him a Band-Aid."

Rizzo shared that they put the band-aid on him "as if they were performing surgery."

"It caused such a scene- and he came back to the table with this little Band-Aid and we both laughed because it was so silly," she wrote.

Saget died on January 9, 2022, at the age of 65 after he suffered a blunt head trauma following a fall in a hotel in Florida, according to People.

Kelly Rizzo finds love again with Breckin Meyer

In the time since Saget's death, the 'Eat Travel Rock' creator has found love again with actor Breckin Meyer.

The couple made their first public appearance on February 4, 2024, at Steven Tyler's annual Grammy Awards viewing party, and recently went Instagram official on his 50th birthday on May 7.

Sharing a sweet selfie of herself and Meyer at the recent F1 Grand Prix in Miami, Rizzo wrote, "HAPPY BIRTHDAY!! To the man who is kind, sweet, silly, thoughtful, completely hilarious, handsome, understanding, charming, forever curious, compassionate, witty, warm & wonderful."

"You deserve to be endlessly celebrated today!" she concluded the birthday post on Instagram.
