Tiffany & Co debuts a modernized Kennedy Center Honor medallion
One of the biggest visual changes at this year’s ceremony was the brand-new medal, replacing the classic rainbow ribbon used since 1978. The new version is a gold disc etched with the Kennedy Center’s image, surrounded by rainbow colors representing artistic disciplines.
The honoree’s name and ceremony date are engraved on the reverse, and the piece now hangs from a deep navy-blue ribbon.
