Kendall Jenner and Gigi Hadid mocked for riding Hermes-dressed horses at Vogue Paris show
PARIS, FRANCE: Kendall Jenner and Gigi Hadid made a very unique entry at the Vogue World Paris show on Sunday, June 23, as the two beauties rode on Hermes-dressed horses at the Place Vendome.
Singers Katy Perry, Sabrina Carpenter, and Serena and Venus Williams were among the models and athletes who made it to the city square and turned it into a runway.
According to a statement by Vogue, “Vogue World: Paris will look back, decade by decade, at the last century of French fashion and how it relates to the history of sports—from cycling to swimming to fencing to breakdancing—always with an eye to our present and future.”

Anna Wintour thanks ‘the French community and the world of fashion’
Vogue's global editorial director Anna Wintour said, “We're here to celebrate the wonder of French fashion. So I'm just grateful for all the support from the French community and the world of fashion here in Paris.”
Keeping it true to the theme, the pair was seen dressed in matching taupe blazers with shiny black collars while their horses, Django and Napo, donned colorful Hermes scarves, as reported by the Daily Mail.

However, the models later changed into different outfits.
Jenner rocked a nude corset dress, which featured a semi-sheer petticoat underskirt with a pair of stylish white gloves and bright red lipstick.
Hadid went for a stunning custom Balmain ensemble that came with an incredible gold-plated corset and blue skirt with a thigh high-slit.
The 29-year-old TV personality kept her look glamorous by adding a popping red lip and matching pair of heels.
Olivier Rousteing, the creative director of Balmain, reportedly explained, “Gigi is obviously this generation’s supermodel–which, in my opinion, is akin to being an athlete of sorts–but beyond that she is the new goddess of the fashion world. And the dress I have made is one for a goddess.”
Serena and Venus Williams served sports with fashion
Other stars who stole the show at the fashion event were the powerhouse sisters, Serena and Venus Williams, whose outfits were the perfect amalgamation of athleticism and style.
Serena chose a blue, black, and white Off White dress by Ib Kamara with flowy detailing at the end. Her designer revealed, “The idea was to represent Serena’s iconic career through Off-White’s sport aesthetic.”
The tennis star’s elder sister Venus looked incredible in a custom Marine Serre look created from repurposed tennis bags as Serre told Vogue, “This piece is a heartfelt tribute to my sporting roots. These bags are woven into the fabric of my childhood memories and have profoundly shaped my approach to fashion.”
Sabrina Carpenter and Katy Perry amaze with their ensembles
Another look that took away people’s breath was of Sabrina Carpenter, who looked phenomenal in a red and white stripey Jacquemus outfit.
Katy Perry also stole the show in a very risque Noir Kei Ninomiya’s ensemble.
The singer showed ample skin in the geometric cut-out dress that came with peach-colored floral embellishments. She completed her look by adding a pair of black stilettos.

"Def not my kind of fashion. I would stay on the horse," a user stated,
An individual added, "Hate when they use animals for vanity shows, so unnecessary."
