Kesha sides with Wendy’s after brand roasts Katy Perry’s Blue Origin space trip, Internet says 'grow up'

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Kesha has reignited her public feud with Katy Perry after subtly joining fast-food chain Wendy’s in mocking the singer’s recent space flight.
The 'Praying' singer posted a photo of herself sipping from a Wendy’s cup shortly after the brand made fun of Perry’s brief Blue Origin trip.
Wendy’s mocks Katy Perry’s 11-minute Blue Origin trip
The fast-food chain Wendy’s targeted Katy Perry with multiple posts on X (formerly Twitter) following her return from space aboard Blue Origin’s New Shepard 31 spacecraft.
She was joined by Jeff Bezos’ fiancee Lauren Sanchez, journalist Gayle King, NASA rocket scientist Aisha Bowe, civil rights activist Amanda Nguyen, and producer Kerianne Flynn.

Wendy’s responded to a post saying “Katy Perry has returned from space” by writing, “Can we send her back.”
In another tweet, the chain reacted to a photo of Perry kissing the ground after her return by writing, “I kissed the ground and i liked it.”
When someone mentioned the trip lasted only 10 minutes, Wendy’s replied, “Don’t short change her it was 11 minutes.”
During the mission, Perry performed 'What a Wonderful World' in space and later told a reporter she felt “super connected to love” after the flight.
In her photo, Kesha is seen grinning while biting on a straw, wearing black sunglasses and a white shirt. The post came shortly after Wendy’s sarcastic tweets.
Katy Perry and Kesha's long-standing feud
The tension between the two singers traces back to Katy Perry's continued collaboration with music producer Dr Luke.
Kesha had previously sued Dr Luke in 2014, alleging that he gave her substances and sexually assaulted her at a party in 2005.
She also accused him of emotionally abusing her for years. Dr Luke, whose real name is Lukasz Gottwald, denied all allegations. The case was settled in June 2023.
Perry received backlash for working with Dr Luke on her 2024 album '143', prompting her to respond during an interview on Alex Cooper’s 'Call Her Daddy' podcast in September 2024.
“Look, I understand that it started a lot of conversations. He was one of many collaborators that I collaborated with. But the reality is, it comes from me,” Perry said, according to the New York Post.
“The truth is, I wrote these songs from my experience of my whole life going through this metamorphosis. And he was one of the people to help facilitate all that. One of the writers, one of the producers,” added Perry.
Internet reacts to Kesha's jab at Katy Perry
After Kesha posted her Wendy’s photo, reactions poured in online, with many users slamming her for reviving the feud and criticizing her musical relevance.
“Kesha you truly need to grow up. Focus on your music that’s flopping off the charts,” wrote one person on X.

“But I thought you ‘moved on’ yet you still constantly leech off of an event that happened in 2005 and the people connected to it…for your own benefit. Didn’t you lose the case too??? Embarrassing honestly. Move on already,” another person commented.
