Kevin Costner dreads meeting ex-wife Christine Baumgartner on Christmas as he 'still harbors resentment'
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Kevin Costner has apparently been under stress thinking about the upcoming Christmas time that he has to spend with his ex-wife, Christine Baumgartner, for the sake of their children.
The couple, who got married in 2004, parted ways last year after almost two decades of being together, with Baumgartner filing for divorce, citing "irreconcilable differences." They share joint custody of their three children, Cayden Wyatt, 17, Hayes Logan, 15, and Grace Avery, 14.
In June 2023, the 'Yellowstone' star said, "I can’t wilt like a daisy. I have to go forward. I have to continue to be who I am, and keep a special eye on who [my children] are."

An insider recently revealed, as per RadarOnline, "Kevin can't stand the thought of spending time and breaking bread with Christine after everything she put him through. Kevin still harbors resentment and anger toward Christine. She's far from his biggest fan, too. It is still so bitter between them."
They added, "Kevin used to look forward to the holidays, as Christine made everything so beautiful, but now he's dreading it."
"Though he has to keep a straight face for the sake of his kids, who he clearly loves," further shared the tipster.
Kevin Costner feels his former friend stabbed him in the back by getting into a relationship with Christine Baumgartner
For Christine Baumgartner's part, she has now moved on and is reportedly dating Kevin Costner's former friend, Josh Connor.
"[Connor] is the last person Kevin wants to lay eyes on," the insider claimed.
This came after earlier a source revealed that Baumgartner and Connor "are together all the time and the talk among their mutual friends is that they're moving toward an official engagement and wedding."
But the development in their relationship has left Costner feeling "sick."
"He feels like he's been stabbed in the back and never got an apology from Josh. Kevin's craving closure but finding it difficult, especially as he's hearing how happy Christine is and rumors of a wedding," the insider noted.

However, it's not just his personal life, Kevin Costner's professional life has also suffered a setback.
The first installment of his passion project, 'Horizon: An American Saga', drastically failed at the box office.
An insider had claimed, "His divorce wasn't cheap. He’s paying Christine $63,000 in child support and he still gives his kids a lot more money on top of that. But this film investment is the real killer."
