The latest player joining the ensemble, Kevin O’Leary is known to many as "Mr Wonderful." He is a Canadian businessman who has dominated the boardroom as a tough-talking investor on ABC’s 'Shark Tank'.

Chalamet's highly anticipated film is drawing a lot of attention for its star-studded cast and intriguing premise.

The movie boasts a stellar lineup, including Gwyneth Paltrow, Odessa A’zion, and the multifaceted Tyler, the Creator. As per Variety, magician Penn Jillette and filmmaker Abel Ferrara are also part of the cast.

While the details about their characters are being kept tightly under wraps, the combination of talent and unpredictability hints at something exciting.

'Marty Supreme' is based on the life of table tennis player Martin 'Marty' Reisman

The film centers around the life of Martin "Marty" Reisman, famously known as the "wizard of table tennis."

While the plot specifics haven’t been fully revealed, reports suggest that the film will follow Reisman’s incredible journey from a Manhattan ping pong hustler to a global table tennis champion.

Over his illustrious career, Reisman secured an impressive 22 major titles between 1946 and 2002, alongside five bronze medals at the World Table Tennis Championships.

Reisman’s talents weren’t limited to competition. He was also known for his ping-pong comedy routine, even performing alongside the Harlem Globetrotters, adding a layer of entertainment to his mastery of the sport.

Chalamet has openly expressed his admiration for the Safdie brothers, Josh Safdie and Benjamin Safdie, who are known for their gripping and raw storytelling style.

Reportedly, in a 2019 essay for Variety, Chalamet praised their ability to create "contemporary, raw and untethered work," and remarked on their acclaimed thriller 'Uncut Gems'.

He wrote, "The pair have continuously put out contemporary, raw and untethered work over the last decade, each film building on the traits of the prior, but never once sacrificing their innate grittiness."

As with all Safdie projects, audiences can expect an unfiltered, high-stakes narrative. As Chalamet put it: "You are best off simply expecting the unexpected."

Chalamet will produce Josh's 'Marty Supreme' alongside Eli Bush, Anthony Katagas, and A24.
