Khloe Kardashian says she's the 'first call' for others but struggles to ask for help herself
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Socialite, and businesswoman Khloe Kardashian recently opened up about her personal struggles, revealing a contrast between how she supports others and how she handles her own challenges.
Speaking on 'The Morgan Stewart Show,' she reflected on her tendency to be the first person friends and family turn to, while finding it difficult to seek help herself. Her comments offer insight into her mindset, relationships, and personal growth.
Khloe Kardashian reflects on supporting others while struggling to seek help herself
Khloe shared that she is often the “first call” for loved ones in times of need, yet finds it difficult to seek support herself. She also acknowledged, “That's my problem. That's what I work on in therapy," describing it as a recurring pattern in her life.
She then explained, “I think I would call Kim Kardashian the most, but also — my personality — I'll say, 'Ugh. Kim is studying for the bar. She has four kids. She's acting, and I will run this list down in my head and be like, ‘I'm not gonna bother her with my trivial sh*t that I'm gonna get over in two days.”
“So that's my brain. But I know Kim doesn't care. She'll be like, Call me,” Khloe further stated to host Morgan Stewart.
The Good American co-founder said on the podcast that she considers herself the "great judge of character” among her siblings. However, she clarified that this instinct does not extend to her own romantic relationships. “If I'm dating [the person] — no,” She added with a smile.
She also noted that her youngest siblings, Kylie Jenner and Kendall Jenner, are particularly perceptive when it comes to assessing others, describing them as especially skilled in reading people, "They have such great heads on their shoulders, Like, they're really realistic and levelheaded.”
Khloe continued, "And they're really guarded. But I feel like they have to be, because they grew up differently than we did,” nodding in agreement, while referring to her siblings Kim, Kourtney Kardashian, and Rob Kardashian.
“They didn't get as much normal time before the cameras came around,” she continued, referring to how the family rose to fame through 'Keeping Up with the Kardashians.'
Khloe Kardashian comments on growth, values, and authenticity
Khloe also reflected on how her perspective has evolved over time, especially regarding business decisions and brand endorsements. She recalled that early in her career, she accepted opportunities without much thought, driven by excitement and uncertainty about how long those opportunities would last.
As she and her siblings grew older, their outlook shifted, and Khloe remarked they came to understand that “not all money is good money,” recognizing the importance of being mindful about the projects they associate with.
Reflecting on earlier decisions, she added, “At the time, there was no thought. It was more like, ‘This is so cool. Someone's asking me to do this. I'm getting paid What a blessing! Our platform is powerful, and we can't just be doing things to do things. And we have to think about what we're doing now, and things need to be authentic."
Despite this evolution, Khloe noted that she does not judge her past choices harshly, "I think with anyone, if you were offered all this stuff, you would take it."
She concluded by stating, "And then you grow up and you come to your senses, and you realize, ‘Okay, maybe that doesn't feel good if I am promoting something that I don't even believe in — I've never used it.' So that definitely was an evolution."
