NASHVILLE, TENNESSEE: Kid Rock doesn’t take kindly to a quiet audience and he made that crystal clear over the weekend in Nashville.

The 54-year-old rocker made a surprise appearance at JBJ’s Nashville on Saturday, Feb 8, joining Bon Jovi keyboardist David Bryan for a birthday jam session, as reported by People.

Fans cheered as Rock took the stage and launched into a rendition of 'Creedence Clearwater Revival’s' 'Proud Mary' but moments later, things took a sharp turn.

Midway through the performance, Rock stopped singing, waved for the band to pause, and turned his attention to the crowd. “F**k them. F**k them. Hey, hey, stop,” he snapped, according to fan-shot video circulating online. “If you ain’t gonna clap, we ain’t gonna sing. That’s how it’s gonna go.”

The audience, caught off guard, responded with applause, and Rock picked up where he left off. But their enthusiasm wasn’t up to his standards. Less than a minute later, he cut the song short again.

“You know what, f**k y’all. You ain’t gonna clap, I’m gone,” he declared before storming offstage.

Video footage shows Bryan exchanging confused glances with a fellow bandmate as Rock exits without another word.

Bryan, who turned 63 on Feb 7, kept the show going by posting a celebratory clip to Instagram, writing, “THANK YOU FOR THE BIRTHDAY WISHES! Rocking at @jbjsnash last night with @bigkennytv!

Fresh from a high-energy set at the Make America Great Again Victory Rally—held to mark Donald Trump’s inauguration in late January, Grammy-nominated rocker Kid Rock shared the stage with acts like Jason Aldean, Rascal Flatts, the Village People, and Billy Ray Cyrus.

Speaking with ABC News, Rock pointed out that he and Trump share a common goal doing what they believe is best for the country. He also quipped that the former president had given him an unofficial title “Head of the Liquor Cabinet.”

“I’m a person that likes to win. I don’t sugarcoat things,” Rock said. “I call it like I see it. Sometimes I might not get it absolutely correct. I’m a man with forgiveness in my heart.”

Kid Rock’s latest live performance didn’t exactly go as planned. The singer reportedly stormed off stage at Jon Bon Jovi’s Nashville bar after failing to get much of a reaction from the crowd leading to widespread ridicule online.

Fans wasted no time roasting the situation, with one user calling his actions "unprofessional," while another accused him of making excuses: "He just didn't want to perform and made up an excuse to keep their money!!"

Other users piled on with jokes saying, "He’s doing birthday parties now."

Another wrote, "If Kid Rock can’t hold the attention of a room full of hammered boomers in Nashville, maybe it’s time to hang up the cowboy hat."

"Goddamn, he’s soft," a user said, while another wrote, "They are so fragile."
