SANTA CLARA, CALIFORNIA: Kid Rock drew online ridicule for his lip-syncing at Turning Point USA’s ‘All-American Halftime Show’ on Sunday, February 8.

The headliner and final performer stormed the stage yelling, “My name is KIDDDDD ROCKKKKKK,” but some viewers joked that he looked more like Ashlee Simpson and Milli Vanilli based on his performance.

Kid Rock’s lip‑syncing video from TPUSA event goes viral

Kid Rock hit the stage with high energy, launching into his 1998 hit 'Bawitdaba'. However, things quickly unraveled as close-up shots revealed he was lip syncing through most of the song and struggling to keep the illusion intact.

Fans cheered from both sides of the stage while Kid Rock’s voice blared from the speakers, even though his mouth wasn’t moving. He jumped around, ripped off his black bowler hat, and kept the performance high-octane as flames shot up around the stage.

Behind him, an American flag displayed his name in bright yellow lights. But none of the theatrics stopped viewers from noticing the obvious lip syncing, sparking a flood of posts on X.

Social media users quickly compared him to Ashlee Simpson and Milli Vanilli, recalling Simpson’s 2004 SNL pre-recorded vocals mishap and Milli Vanilli’s 1989 Grammy revocation, highlighting recurring scandals over artist authenticity.

Fans called out Kid Rock online after viewers accused him of “horrendous lip syncing” during his performance at the ‘All-American Halftime Show.’

One commenter said, “Kid Rock literally didn’t even know the words to lip sync to his own song. I guess they are kind of right that a washed up meth head represents our ‘American Standards’."

Another person mocked, “If anyone had to pay for this s**t. Hope you ask for a refund Kid Rock lip synching his lyrics. When your washed up."

One user joked, “I am in tears at how badly Kid Rock is lip syncing. 🤭 It really is perfect though. A perfect representation of how inept MAGA actually are.”

A commenter added, “Kid Rock, bro, I'm embarrassed for you. This was a great opportunity for you. Worst lip syncing I've ever seen and I remember Milli Vanilli.”

Another X user wrote, “Kid Rock’s lip syncing is even more egregious than Ashlee Simpson and Millie Vanilli.”

One internet user laughed, “But hey, Kid Rock got to show off his lip syncing skills.”

Another person slammed, “Kid Rock couldn’t even be bothered to sing live. Instead, some truly awful lip-syncing. A perfectly executed TPUSA grift by Kid.”
