Kieran Culkin says he has not 'really been much of a parent' as he now takes a week-long break for family
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Kieran Culkin prioritizes parenting after film promotion as he opened up on having uninterrupted family time.
The 41-year-old actor who has been promoting his new film 'A Real Pain' at Sundance is looking forward to spending some time with his young children.

Culkin who shares two-year-old son, Wilder Wolf, and four-year-old daughter, Kinsey Sioux, with his wife Jazz Charton spoke about being busy with his work and not being able to be with his little ones.
"Yesterday morning, my wife took the kids home and then I flew here," the 'Succession' actor told The Hollywood Reporter.
"I haven't had a moment to rest, but I'm really looking forward to when I get home. These last couple of weeks, I haven't really been much of a parent, which makes me feel like s**t," he added.
"It makes me feel like I'm not me. So I'm looking forward to, I'm gonna turn the world off for about a week and just be a dad," he shared.

Kieran Culkin says he wants more children
Culkin, who was honored with the award for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series at the 75th Emmys, expressed gratitude to his wife and their family during his acceptance speech.
During the same speech, the actor playfully hinted that he wanted more children as Charton laughed from her seat. "You said maybe, if I win!" Culkin added at the time.
He later clarified to reporters that for "a while" he had been discussing with his wife about expanding their family.
"Jazz said, ‘Maybe if you win the Emmy,' ” Culkin recalled.

“I didn't bring it up for months, and then when I won the Globe, I said, ‘Do you remember what you said?’ And she was like, ‘What? No. What did I say? I don't remember this,’” he said.
“So I told her, and then it all came back to her. So then she spent the whole week being nervous," he added.
In 2023, Culkin opened up to Taika Waititi in an interview about how he balanced filming a project in Poland and his home life.
"I have a one-and-a-half--year-old and a three-and-a-half-year-old, and we’re going to be bouncing around Poland," he said.
"I don’t like being away from them for more than two days at a time, and it’s not practical for me to have them there the whole time," Culkin added.
