When Kieran Culkin picked out Pedro Pascal
The hilarious feud began at the Golden Globes when Culkin came one better against Pascal and jokingly said, “suck it” during his acceptance speech, reports People.
"I was nominated for a Golden Globe 20 years ago, and when that moment passed I sort of remember thinking I’m never going to be back in this room again. Which, was fine. Whatever. But thanks to Succession, I’ve been in here a couple of times, which is nice. But I sort of accepted I’m never going to be on stage, so this is a nice moment, thank you," he said.
He then said, "Suck it, Pedro. Mine!" The camera cut to Pascal who was laughing in the audience.
"Really quickly, I’d just like to thank everybody in Succession. Jesse, our writers, the amazing cast. Everybody that showed up and believed in this thing and that it was very cool," Culkin continued, adding "This isn’t mine, this is one for the team."
Kieran Culkin doubled-up with Emmy win
He won for outstanding lead actor at the Emmys, too, and took the thanked his “beautiful wife for sharing your life with me and for giving me two amazing kids.”
"And Jazz, I want more. You said maybe, if I win!" he concluded with a laugh.
Meanwhile after winning at SAG Awards, Pedro talked about Culkin. “He is the greatest. I can remember years and years ago, actually, him taking one of my younger siblings to an FAO Schwarz in Manhattan, and I was doing a play at Second Sage. ... He came up to me and complimented me on the play,” he said.
