'He was terrible': Tan France under fire for flirting with Pedro Pascal at SAG Awards 2024
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Tan France recently faced a wave of criticism on X (formerly Twitter). People weren't happy about his flirtatious behavior with Pedro Pascal, famous for his role in 'The Last Of Us', backstage at the SAG Awards.
Pascal, who just won his first SAG award in Los Angeles, was basking in the limelight. He has received accolades for his portrayal of Joel in the acclaimed HBO series 'The Last Of Us'. During his acceptance speech, Pascal, admittedly drunk, emotionally thanked his family and friends.
During a recent interview with SAG-AFTRA Foundation Conversations, Pascal revealed his unique method for memorizing lines. He described it as unconventional, which surprised fellow actor Kieran Culkin.
Tan France mocked for flirting with Pedro Pascal
As reported by the Daily Mail, there was a bit of controversy surrounding France's backstage conversation with Pascal at the SAG Awards last Saturday. Pascal joined France, who was interviewing winners backstage, after clinching the award for his performance in 'The Last Of Us'.
As reported by the Daily Mail, Pascal complimented France's silver hair, to which France jokingly replied, "We are not here to flirt with me, Pedro Pascal." Pascal, in a playful retort, said, "Yes we are. What else could we be here for?"

France then brought up Culkin, whom Pascal had beaten in the category to win the SAG award. Pascal jokingly vowed, "I'm going to make out with Kieran," as payback for Culkin's 'suck it' remark to Pascal after the latter lost to Culkin at the Golden Globes this year.
Summing up the situation, as per the Daily Mail, France quipped, "I would love to see this, that would make me so happy." Continuing the interview, France asked Pascal about his acceptance speech and if he was "happy."
Pascal jokingly replied that he couldn't recall what he said, prompting France to suggest, "Okay, okay. You should look it up tomorrow when you're a little more sober."
