WASHINGTON, DC: Several social media posts circulating on the internet claim that reality TV superstar Kim Kardashian is allegedly running for office.

Notably, Kim has already participated in discussions around the presidential contest and has even made suggestions that she would run for politics in the future, The US Sun reported.

However, the rumors circulating on social media that reality TV star Kim Kardashian is a 2024 presidential candidate are reportedly false and she has no plans to run for president.

Notably, social media users have started circulating an old photo of Kim at the White House with Vice President Kamala Harris. Since these photos were shot at the White House, some on the internet are speculating that she could be a good presidential candidate and started trending "Kim Kardashian for President".

The pictures, which were taken in April 2024 during Kim's trip to Washington, DC, have suddenly surfaced again. Kim's earlier remarks from 2018, in which she refused to rule out the possibility of one day standing for president, stoked the rumors.

Kim told CNN’s Van Jones in an interview, "Never say never. I honestly saw that if I could use my platform just to do something for one person, that it opens the conversation for so much more and for other people to want to do the same thing."

She added, "If more people would just put their personal feelings aside and talk about really important issues that have to be discussed, then so much more can get done."

People on the internet started trending 'Kim Kardashian for President' across social media after the reality TV star's photos at the White House with Vice President Kamala Harris went viral. Some social media users felt she would make a great leader of the country.

One social media user stated, "Kim Kardashian needs to run for Democratic President, let’s go full Idiocracy state," whereas another mentioned, "Kim Kardashian should really be president like seriously."

One individual remarked, "Madam president@KimKardashian e go too tap," while another said, "Kim Kardashian working on Prison Reform with both candidates at the White House."

One person commented, "If @KimKardashian Wanted to be president and ran, she would win," while another asked Kim, "Please run for president."
