Kim Kardashian is open to dating but has a 'top priority' clause for her future partner

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Kim Kardashian is definitely open to finding love in her life, but not without a few conditions. 

Sources close to ‘The Kardashians’ star recently opened up to ET regarding Kim’s requirement for a new partner. 

After the SKIMS founder finalized her divorce from Kanye West, she has been in a relationship with Pete Davidson and NFL star Odell Beckham Jr.

While the “hopeless romantic” Kim is currently busy with her business and family, she is not averse to the idea of love. However, to gain her attention, any potential suitor has to comply with a minor requirement on Kim’s side.

Dating is not out of the question for Kim Kardashian

The 43-year-old reality TV star is currently said to be extremely focused on her work. A source close to Kim Kardashian recently shared with ET, “Kim is mostly focused on work, her kids, and her family, but dating is certainly not out of the question.”

However, the source shared that for Kim her four children with ex-Kanye West - North, 11, Saint, eight, Chicago, six, and Psalm, five - are her priority. 

The source said, “She’d love to date someone that’s close to their family, trustworthy, loyal, successful, and most importantly, family and kid-driven.”

“That’s always Kim’s top priority, so she would only be with someone romantically if they fit that general mold,” added the source. 

However, the insider assured that while her friends and family want her to find love again, they are not rushing things. Moreover, they also respect her decision regarding a probable partner. 

“Her friends, of course, want her to find love, but respect that it will happen at her own pace and when she feels the timing is right,” concluded the source. 

Kim Kardashian revealed she is a 'hopeless romantic'

During an appearance at 'On Purpose with Jay Shetty' podcast last year, the SKKN by Kim founder opened up about her love life while admitting that she is a "hopeless romantic."

Saying that she is hopeful of finding love again, Kim shared, "I think I'll always be a hopeless romantic and always want to be in love and definitely love sharing my life with someone, and love creating a life with someone," before adding, "I definitely will take my time. And I think there's so many factors, especially when you have kids and being mindful of people that enter in your life.

As she was asked about the qualities that she would prefer in her future partner, she said, "I think just having that mutual respect, treating people with respect is just a given," per People.

"I truly think someone is such a solid person when they have really grounded relationships. Grounded in love and relationships can be different things," Kim added, before continuing, "You know, sometimes you have your group of girlfriends that you love to go on vacation with, and then sometimes you have, you know, your other friends that you work really well with."

"Every relationship can be different. If you have just a mutual respect around the, across the board, that's I think the number one thing," added the star and declared, "I'm really content."

She professed her love for her family, saying, "My babies make me happy, my family, my life. You know, experiences make me happy."

"But when you just look around and when there's like tension and stress, that is just not necessary from work, from relationships, from friends. And you just decide to be still and not try to please everyone," she noted.

"It becomes just really clear and you realize that you just wanna be happy and you wanna share this life and that these experiences with your group of people that you trust and you love, and who are super loyal," said the doting mother-of-four.
