Kim Kardashian mocked for her Balenciaga runway walk: 'Trying desperately to appear sober'

PARIS, FRANCE: People on the internet have made fun of Kim Kardashian for her runway walk at a show on Wednesday, July 9.
The 44-year-old was doing the walk for a Balenciaga show in Paris, France, when people found it very weird and odd, with some calling her out for “trying desperately to appear sober.”

For the event, the socialite looked sizzling in a white midi slip dress and oversized fur coat. She also added luxe jewels, which were once owned by Elizabeth Taylor, and a short black bob parted to the side, to her look.
Netizens say Kim Kardashian’s walk was ‘cheap and unrefined’

However, her dashing look could not distract critics.
One person on Instagram commented, “I actually love this because it shows the skill it takes to have a good walk, and I’m not the only one who doesn’t have that skill 😂 reinforces that it’s unrealistic to compare ourselves to models.”
Another person wrote, “Why is she walking like that😭😭 the look is great but the walk is not.”
“Me coming in at 2AM, drunk, and trying desperately to appear sober,” a third one said.
A social media user asked, “How does she have so much money and influence and yet makes everything appear so cheap and unrefined?”
Another one simply remarked, “Giving the drunk vibes😂.”
“Looked unprofessionally awkward,” a comment read.
“I know she brings views but the walk is pathetic. Her expressions look so meanie,” another person said.
A person wrote, “She looks like a Vegas casino boss's wife from the 60's who's had one too many martini's.”
One Reddit user posted, “She looks like me when I'm completely drunk but I try to walk like a sober person.”
Another one on Reddit agreed as they added, “This was my first thought as well. She looks like someone who is trying to walk like they're sober to prove to their friends that they're fine lmao.”

Kim is Balenciaga’s brand ambassador, but previously she had rebuked the brand for their controversial campaign of children.

At the time, the mother-of-four had said, “I have been quiet for the past few days, not because I haven't been shocked and outraged by the recent Balenciaga campaigns, but because I wanted an opportunity to speak to their team to understand for myself how this could have happened.”

“As a mother of four, I have been shaken by those disturbing images. The safety of children must be held with the highest regard and anything against it should have no place in our society — period,” the reality star added.
