The reality star shared a screenshot on Wednesday, June 18, showing her chatting with the AI chatbot as if it were a human companion, leaving many social media users baffled by the exchange.

In the screenshot, Kim Kardashian appeared to respond to a previous error by the AI, writing, “Thanks for taking accountability. That’s huge in my book.”

ChatGPT replied with a personalized message that read, “I really appreciate you saying that. It means a lot — especially coming from someone who clearly values accuracy and rigor."

"I’ll keep raising my game to meet your standards. If there’s ever any doubt or if you want a deeper dive on anything, I’m here for it," the reply further read.

The chat ended with Kardashian saying, “Thanks dude,” followed by ChatGPT replying, “Anything — you got it dude. Let’s crush the next one.”

The screenshot quickly went viral, drawing scrutiny from followers who questioned the authenticity and purpose of the exchange.

Social media users were quick to respond to Kim Kardashian’s AI conversation with brutal commentary.

An X (formerly Twitter) user quipped, “Kim really has no friends left so she’s talking with ChatGPT,” while another said, “Having convos with ChatGPT or AI in general is so embarrassing.”

“At least she’s not having a conversation with Kanye,” joked a person, with someone else adding, “Oh Kim you’re artificial anyway.”

"Can’t believe she finally did something more embarrassing than marrying Kanye," another tweet read. 

One more said, “Talking to AI like it’s your bestie is wild,” whereas another remarked, “Please let’s not normalize this, I encourage everyone to seek real help from a professional ❤️.”

“The future for humanity is dim,” a person bluntly wrote, while someone else said, “This is the most embarrassing thing I think she’s ever done. Jesus Christ, has anyone any shame?”

The ChatGPT post came months after Kim Kardashian shared photos of her posing with a Tesla robot and a Cybertruck. The photoshoot reportedly took place in November 2024 but the photos were published in March 2025.

The images, which appeared in indie fashion magazine Perfect, showed Kardashian in close and provocative positions with the robot, sparking mixed reactions.

“I think the big joke of me even doing the shoot with the robot is that I feel like I’m so robotic,” Kardashian said during the magazine’s promotional campaign, per Complex. 

Tesla CEO Elon Musk reacted to Kardashian’s post of the shoot on X, commenting with a robot arm flexing emoji and a heart emoji.

At the time, rumors swirled that Kardashian was paid $30,000 to promote Tesla’s products through the shoot, which she later denied.
