North West's 'Lion King' performance stuns Kim Kardashian
In a post-credits scene from the latest episode of 'The Kardashians', Kim was astonished after looking at the analytics from North’s recent 'Lion King' performance.
"[North] generated 22 billion impressions and over $1 billion in advertising, media. Wait a minute. North West has 18% more popularity than all of her family members," Kardashian said according to People.

The reality star reacted to the numbers in disbelief, jokingly adding, "Um, okay, we're gonna have to work on this. North, you're not gonna take me down."
Kim Kardashian was initially hesitant into letting North West perform and be her manager
Kim Kardashian shares North, along with her other children Saint, 9, Chicago, 7, and Psalm, 5, with ex-husband Kanye West.

"I feel forced into this," Kim said on managing North West's career previously.
Kim opened up about her evolving role in North's career, saying, "I feel forced into this, and it’s just a new thing."
She discussed how she carefully weighs opportunities for her daughter.
"She'll get an offer to do a photo shoot or something. And like, we really sit and talk about it as a family. Like, 'Should she do this? What's too much? What's not?'" as MEAWW reported.
Kim Kardashian defends daughter North West from critics
Earlier in the episode, Kim Kardashian defended the young performer from critics when she was invited to sing 'I Just Can’t Wait to Be King' at the Hollywood Bowl in May 2024.

While North handled the performance with ease, Kardashian admitted she was more nervous than her daughter. Initially, she had reservations about North stepping into the spotlight, fearing negative comments.
Addressing critics, Kim said, "This is a big responsibility for a little kid."
"I already know what’s coming, you know, that she’s not Whitney Houston—duh! Oh, she got the job 'cause of her parents. North is the moment," she said.

She continued, defending North against detractors, saying, "They want to see North West on a TikTok, on this, on anything, because she’s a personality, a performer, and if anyone wants to hate on a child that is having the time of their lives. F**k you."
Kim, who said she "literally cried the whole time," said, "She's so proud of herself and anyone that is hating on a kid is just a hater and she’s not there to be Mariah Carey."
