LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Kim Kardashian is sparking a heated debate on social media after sharing an exclusive ad for luxury brand Dolce & Gabbana on Instagram.

While the high-end promotion caught the attention of her 360 million followers, it was the sight of rosary beads around her neck that quickly became the focal point.

Online users have criticized the use of the sacred symbol in such a revealing advertisement, with some urging the influencer to remove it, stating that the rosary is not a piece of jewelry to be worn as a fashion accessory.

Earlier this month, she wore the late Princess Diana's Attallah Cross, made from amethyst, to the LACMA Art+Film Gala.
