Kim Kardashian experiments with red hair and micro freckles for SKKN shoot but Internet finds nothing new

NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: Kim Kardashian created waves on social media as she debuted a fresh look in new photos she posted on Friday, October 25, morning.

Sporting a deep tan, reddish hair, pale brown eyebrows, and a sprinkle of micro freckles, the 44-year-old reality star and business mogul showcased her bold transformation to announce a new product for her SKKN brand.

Kim Kardashian unveiled her Silk Matte lipstick collection, offering fans a range of 10 nude shades, each retailing at $29.

"Introducing Silk Matte Lip Color. An airy-light, cream lipstick that transforms from a unique buttery texture into a blurred, natural silk matte finish," read the post caption, adding that the release is set for October 29 at 9 AM PT.

She further revealed, “Dropping October 29th at 9AM PT. Preview now at SKKNBYKIM.com. I’m wearing NUDE 03.”

The latest product is part of SKKN’s gradual expansion into cosmetics after Kim stepped back from her KKW collection, which she had co-developed with Kanye West.

Since then, SKKN has been a major endeavor for Kim, one that she’s reportedly described as a reflection of her “lifelong passion for beauty".

In another photo, Kim wrote, “You guys know how much I love my mattes—but this isn’t your typical matte lipstick. It transforms from an ultra-creamy, butter-like texture into a blurred, natural, moisturizing silk matte finish."

"It’s enriched with a hydrating blend of waxes and oils to lock in all-day moisture and hydration. I’ve been secretly wearing it for months, and I can’t wait for you all to experience it.”

The last photo from the series on her Instagram read, "Smooth as silk 🎀 Join the waitlist at SKKNBYKIM.com."

Kris Jenner and Khloe Kardashian both showed their support with likes on Kim's post, underscoring the Kardashian family's enthusiasm for her new venture. 

She had launched her skincare line, SKKN by Kim, in June 2022.

Kim Kardashian's celebrated her 44th birthday on October 21, which was another highlight this month, sparking a flood of tributes from friends and family.

First among her friends to share a message was Lauren Sanchez, who’s engaged to Jeff Bezos. The two friends have shared numerous experiences together over the past couple of years, even enjoying European yacht vacations.

Kim’s mother, Kris Jenner, also posted a heartfelt tribute on social media, sharing several family photos.

She wrote, “Happy Birthday to my beautiful Kimberly!!! You are truly such a light to everyone who meets you... I’m so proud of you every single day... you are the most amazing mother, daughter, sister, auntie and friend.”

She concluded, “You are such a huge part of my heart, and I cherish every single precious memory we have ever made. You bring me such happiness and joy and I love you beyond any measure my beautiful daughter. I love you Mommy @kimkardashian.”

Sister Khloe Kardashian joined in with her own emotional message: “To one of the most spectacular and extraordinary humans I know, Happy birthday!! To the queen of manifestation. The ultimate unicorn of all unicorns. To my Bestie sister I am screaming happy birthday @kimkardashian,” she wrote.

Fans troll Kim Kardashian over 'same old' look 

In a flurry of responses, fans shared candid critiques on Kim Kardashian's recent look. Many felt it was nothing new and rather a predictable style of the reality TV star.

A particular viewer expressed, "To me, she always looks extremely recognizable. The same long, pin straight wig, just in different colors. The same strange trash bag/ leather/ latex outfits. The same heavy makeup look, the same expressionless pose in each photo. It would be nice to see her try something completely opposite for a change. Lighter makeup, natural hair, a more sophisticated fashion sense."

Following suit, another observer added, "So the family that is known for not having the same face for long, has a different look. That is not news, that is same old same old."
