Kristin Chenoweth reveals she was physically abused after reflecting on Diddy assault video
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Kristin Chenoweth is reflecting on her past getting physically abused by a former partner while commenting on the Cassie Ventura and Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs issue.
The 55-year-old actress recently opened up about her experience with physical abuse while cogitating on the recently released surveillance video footage showing the music mogul assaulting his musician girlfriend in a hotel lobby in March 2016.

‘The Broadway’ actress recently took to her social media on Saturday, May 18, to reflect on the recently released footage, per People.
The shocking surveillance footage appears to show the music mogul kicking and dragging Ventura down a hallway of the InterContinental Hotel in Century City, Los Angeles.
As his ex-girlfriend tried to rise, Diddy could be seen shoving her and throwing an object in her direction.

Referring to the disturbing video, Chenoweth wrote on her X (formerly Twitter) account, "Honestly I have my reasons for the Sean Combs video bothering me so much," before adding, "The main thing I need to do is pray for him. For real."

However, a fan quickly responded to her and said she should pray for the “victims” and not the “evil abusers.”
It was then the actress opened up about her experience.
Replying to the post, she wrote, "Never wanted to come out with it, but here we go.”
The ‘Descendants’ star wrote, "Several years ago I was severely abused. It took me therapy and prayer to understand I deserved better."
"I was deeply injured physically and spiritually," added Cheenoweth before explaining, "The only thing I knew to do when I got out was pray. Pray for myself. Pray for him as he grew up abused. So. There y'all go."
In another post she added, "It was the lowest I’ve been in my life.”
"I must admit I haven’t forgiven yet. It's beyond me. God is helping me through that part,” shared the star.

The ‘RV” actress continued, "A victim has to handle it however [she/he/they] needs to and is best for them," before adding that her experience might help someone.
Nevertheless, Chenoweth has come out of the harrowing nightmare and is currently enjoying her married life with Josh Bryant, with whom she tied the knot in September 2023.
