Kylie Jenner ‘wants to go to Oscars’ with Timothee Chalamet but may skip it for surprising reasons

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Kylie Jenner really wants to be by boyfriend Timothee Chalamet’s side during this year’s Oscars but things do not look favorable for the beauty mogul because of two reasons.

Chalamet has been nominated for Best Actor for his work in ‘A Complete Unknown’ and may get the award on Sunday, March 2, but his girlfriend probably won’t be there to cheer for him, as reported by The Sun.

A tipster spilled to the publication that Kylie “does want to go to the Oscars” but she “always has stage fright at the big Hollywood events.”

The source said about Kylie Jenner, “She gets really anxious about having to hold conversations about things she doesn’t know about, like the film industry and acting. It just makes her uncomfortable. She’s always battling that inferiority complex of ‘They think I’m just trash TV.’”

The tipster explained that the mother-of-two has this fear of “having that rug pulled out from under her, or people saying she doesn’t deserve to be somewhere like the Oscars.”

“There is part of her that is worried that by appearing on the red carpet, she triggers some sort of ‘hate reaction’ from people who think she’s not entitled to be on the red carpet or with him,” they added.

Kylie Jenner, however, went to the Golden Globes and the BAFTAs this year with Timothee Chalamet.

Another insider revealed that she did not feel welcomed at the Golden Globes.

“Kylie seemed very uncomfortable all night, just so tense and awkward most of the night. You’d see brief moments where she connected with Timothee or bonded with the girls at her table [Elle Fanning, Monica Barbaro],” they shared.

The source claimed, “Those three really did seem to have a fun time at that table together. But everyone was coming up constantly to talk to Elle and Timothee. No one knew who Kylie was, and if they did, they basically didn’t acknowledge her.”

Another reason for the 27-year-old media personality to avoid the 2025 Academy Awards can probably be the death of her hairstylist and close friend, Jesus Guerrero.

Guerrero’s family confirmed his death on social media on Sunday, February 23. His sister shared on a GoFundMe page, “It is with a heavy heart that we let the world know that Jesus Guerrero has gone to heaven. He is a son, a brother, an uncle, an artist, a friend, and so much more.”

“Unfortunately, his passing came very suddenly and unexpectedly. Currently, his family is taking care of his personal belongings and accommodations to bring him home to Houston. We hope that you find it in your heart to help in any way and/or share this GoFundMe,” she added.

The tragedy has devastated Kylie, who as per a source, is “doing everything she can to be supportive and aid his family, including financially".

Kylie skipped the SAG Awards on Sunday, February 23, and Timothee was accompanied by his mother instead. The 'Dune' actor went on to win the Best Actor Award for 'A Complete Unknown'.
