The entrepreneur, who describes himself as an "open-minded Republican," acknowledged that he often aligns with liberal views on social issues.
He explained, "What really needs to happen is, people need to understand that even though I'm a Republican and I have Republican conservative attitudes, that doesn't mean I don't support the LGBTQ community, or drag as a form of artistry. And that's why we use the restaurant as a venue for them to come in, the drag artists. and perform once a week."
Having said that, Germanotta thinks if Harris had won she "would have killed a lot of businesses in New York City." He had even thought about moving to Wyoming.
"Between the immigration and the crime and the economy, it's a cascading effect," shared the father of two.
Trump's win felt like a "hat trick" to him. He stated, "As soon as we start getting the economy straightened out, and they ‘drill, baby, drill,’ and the price of gas comes down, that producer price index is going to go down, which means consumers are going to get a better deal. I'll be able to lower prices. It'll bring in more customers, and we'll be back to where we were five or six years ago."
Internet reacts as Joe Germanotta reveals how politics impacted his relationship with his daughter Lady Gaga
Netizens shared their own experiences as well as thoughts on the situation after Joe Germanotta opened up about how things between Lady Gaga and him got strained due to their policial differences.

"Smart man. For his sake I hope whatever level of estrangement he and his daughter are experiencing is short-lived," said another.
A person shared, "Joe, you and I have a lot in common. My daughter is a lot like yours and we cannot talk politics. I am an Independent and I lean to the right. My daughter would make AOC look like a conservative. I read this story and I smiled. I feel for you."
"Actually, politics has nothing to do with your relationship. It's between you and her, period," remarked an individual.
One more stated, "Unlike your daughter....you make way to much sense," while one more added, "Mr. Germanotta must not blame himself, it's his daughter's problem. My son is a liberal. We just don't discuss politics. He can't handle it."
