According to Wilson, she got rejected by ‘The Voice’ seven times before she could make her name in country music.
The singer, who tasted success in 2020 with the release of her single ‘Things a Man Oughta Know', now has multiple #1 hits to her name. Wilson has subsequently become a Grand Ole Opry member, a CMA and ACM Entertainer of the Year, and a Grammy winner.

During an interview with ET, she recalled her experience of getting rejected seven times and shared, “I didn’t even make it to the part…where they turn the chairs around.”
Despite not making it to the competition, she paved her way to success as the rejections fueled her desire to make her own name in the entertainment industry.

As its said all’s well that ends well, Wilson - after being a popular singer - returned to ‘The Voice’ to perform during Season 25 finale. At that time, Judge Reba McEntire surprised her by inviting her to join the Grand Ole Opry.
