Internet slams Lamar Jackson for liking video of Ravens supporter punching Commanders fans

Lamar Jackson might have liked the altercation video for a few reasons. Perhaps he merely liked it after seeing a guy wearing his jersey. He might have made a mistake or believed that by enjoying it, he would draw attention to the incident in the hope of locating the man.

However, it did not sit well with the social media users as one X user wrote, "This doesn’t sit right with me. Lamar Jackson liking a video of a Ravens fan assaulting random Washington fans after the game yesterday…. Yikes."

A second user added, "Not to mention Lamar liking that video on instagram, how can you see something like that and not denounce it, let alone like the video."

"Why did Lamar Jackson like this video of a Ravens fan assaulting 2 Commanders fans?" questioned another user.

Another seethed, "Lamar Jackson liking a video of a ravens fan beating up and assaulting 2 commanders fans is disgusting behavior."

"Lamar Jackson seems to "like" the video of a Ravens fan assaulting a Commanders fan. Is that thug behavior?" questioned an NFL user.

One said, "He saw the video and liked it, it absolutely is and Lamar is my third favorite player in the league."

Another remarked, "If Lamar Jackson really liked that video of that psychopath attacking Commander fans, he can go straight to hell."

Baltimore police probes assault incident after video goes viral

A video of a Ravens supporter viciously assaulting two Washington Commanders fans following the Ravens' victory on Sunday went viral, prompting Baltimore police to seek additional information.

In the video, two Commanders fans were approached by a Ravens fan sporting a Lamar Jackson jersey, seemingly in an attempt to provoke a fight. One fan wearing the former Washington player Sean Taylor's jersey is shown getting kicked by the unidentified Ravens supporter.

The Ravens fan then viciously hooked that supporter in the right, sending him to the ground. A Terry McLaurin jersey-wearing Commanders fan who tried to intervene to break up the brawl was struck in the head, pushed against a wall, and then squirmed free from the screen.

The Ravens supporter then flexed his muscles and yelled to the cameraman, "I don't lose! I don't f**king lose!" while revealing his entire face.

According to a statement to the New York Post, Baltimore Police claimed they are "actively investigating" the incident. In a statement, a spokeswoman stated, "The Baltimore Police Department is aware of a social media video depicting an assault occurring near Cross Street in our Southern District."

"Currently, there have been no reports or calls made to police concerning this incident. Detectives are actively investigating the video. Anyone possessing information related to this incident is encouraged to contact the Southern District at 410-396-2499 or Metro Crime Stoppers at 1-866-7-Lockup."
