WASHINGTON, DC: Lara Trump, the daughter-in-law of President Donald Trump, joined Fox News on Saturday, December 27, to congratulate White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt on her second pregnancy.

Lara put rumors to rest about Leavitt’s future at the White House and said that she was “going nowhere.” She further praised the press secretary and called her a “machine.”

Lara Trump recalls Karoline Leavitt’s first pregnancy 

On 'Fox & Friends', Lara Trump chimed in on Karoline Leavitt’s pregnancy. She said that she wanted to address some of the stories she had read and noted that the White House press secretary was not going anywhere.

Recalling Leavitt’s first pregnancy, Lara said that she did the same during Donald Trump’s campaign.

She said that Leavitt was pregnant, delivered her son, Niko, and was back to work within a "couple of days, on television, fighting to ensure that President Trump got elected."

Lara also said that everyone would be watching as Leavitt “schools fake news media” while eight or nine months pregnant.

She praised Leavitt for being “amazing,” adding that everyone at the White House loved babies. She also said that her father-in-law, Trump, loved babies, adding that he had fostered the most “pro-family” and “pro-child” environment in the White House. 

She added that back during the presidential election, people had their children around before Trump understood it was important for parents to spend time with their families, and also do their jobs.

Lara Trump terms Trump the ‘most pro-life’ president in American history 

Lara Trump recalled Susie Wiles' comments about the workings of the White House. Trump stated that Wiles had said that staff meetings in the White House were scheduled in a way that people could drop off their children at school and spend quality time with them because he understood the importance of family.

Chiming in further on Trump’s achievements and the changes he had made as president, Lara Trump said her father-in-law had shown how much he “loved babies.” She added that he was the “most pro-life” president in American history.

She listed initiatives Trump had taken, such as the increase in child tax credit, the Trump accounts, and said he wanted more babies to be in America. 

Lara added that he had shown it with his policies. She stated that he wanted “safety and security” for every child out there and gave them a “leg up for the future” with the Trump accounts.
