'Such a trash': Laura Ingraham shredded for mocking Biden's 'relaunch' efforts after debate fiasco

WASHINGTON, DC: Fox News host Laura Ingraham delivered a sharp critique of the strategy employed by President Joe Biden's campaign to recoup from his dismal debate performance against Donald Trump. 

In a segment of 'The Ingraham Angle', the conservative host highlighted the steep decline in poll numbers, both nationally and in crucial swing states, painting a bleak picture amid mounting calls for him to drop out of the 2024 race.

On her show, Ingraham exclaimed, "Although he somehow tries to deny it, Biden's poll numbers are cratering – swing states, national approval ratings, all of it!"

Citing a recent battleground state poll conducted by the liberal group Democrats for the Next Generation, she revealed that Biden is trailing Trump by an average of four points across various metrics.

"Now, this is a new battleground state poll by the liberal group, Democrats for the Next Generation, that shows Trump up by an average of four points on Biden across the board, including by a staggering five points (Yes, five points!) in Pennsylvania," remarked the Fox News host. 

"Today was the unofficial Biden campaign post-debate disaster relaunch. It's the day that 'Scranton Joe' would come roaring back," said Ingraham, referring to the president's defiant 'Morning Joe' interview.

Biden told co-hosts Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski, "Any of these guys that don’t think I should run, run against me. Announce for president, challenge me at the convention," and asserted, "I’m not going to explain anymore about what I should or I shouldn’t do. I am running. I am running, and if you want to stop me, come…"  

As usual, Ingraham didn't mince her words while offering her critique and noted, "Today, the White House succeeded in showcasing Biden, though, as an angry old man on MSNBC with his staff doing the same thing they've done for three and a half years: Covering for him so they can just cover for themselves after all. It's a hideous and it's a reckless game they're playing."

Ingraham warned the Democrats of possible electoral consequences, saying, "And the Democrats deserve every bit of what they're going to get in November for their part in this charade."

Ingraham's critique of the supposed "post-debate disaster relaunch" wasn't well received by netizens. 

One said, "She is such trash," while another questioned, "How is she still on air?"

A person remarked, "Another worthless 'journalist} on fake Fox News." Someone else slammed her, saying, "Stick to weather and traffic alerts. If we can even trust you for that. Lol."
