Lauren Sanchez captioned the Instagram video: “A little peek into the space where my words come to life. Everyone’s writing process is unique…there’s no right or wrong, just whatever works for you. I’d love to hear about yours.”

She can also be seen talking in the video to the viewers as she said, “I'm taking you to where I write almost every day.”

The 55-year-old continued, “When I was a reporter in a newsroom, it was just packed with people, and you had to write with all this commotion going on, and I got really used to it, and I love it, and sometimes I do go somewhere like a coffee shop to write.”

She then said that while writing her second book, she “noticed that if I have a really calm, peaceful place, that I'm able to let all my ideas float through me easier than I could in a group.”

“So, I'm really curious. I think everyone writes differently, whether you're writing an Instagram post or you're writing a children's book, or you're writing a novel, a document for work,” she added.

The entrepreneur ended her post, asking, “I'm curious. What's your process for writing?”

Some people were more interested in mocking Lauren Sanchez than sharing their experiences.

A critic wrote, “Your room has elementary school vibes and colors. Whatever inspires anyone to write is a personal decision.”

A second one wrote, “You got to stop. Tone deaf!”

“You're too intelligent to be using a strong filter. The desk is a bit shocking. Giving out Barbie vibes,” a third one said.

“Embarrassing,” a comment read.

But not everyone was mean to Sanchez.

A fan shared, “I have a few writing stations around the house similar to yours all by the window 😍🙌.”

Another fan commented, “I love this. I have to be in the mood. Like I can never force it. I have to feel safe, meaning that I’m not gonna be interrupted or that nobody’s going to read it while I’m getting it out of my head. And I usually prefer to be at home.”

“I love to write and I usually write at home in a comfortable space. I love poetry and find I sometimes get inspired by something or somewhere and I have to write a few lines in my notepad in that moment and come back to it. Thank you for sharing,” a comment read.

“I totally agree I need a calm and clean environment to focus. I love having a clean desk with a beautiful arrangement of flowers next to me or a view of nature- inspires,” another user added.
