Lauren Sanchez reacts to Katy Perry missing her wedding with Jeff Bezos amid Orlando Bloom split

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Katy Perry may be miles away from Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez’s lavish wedding in Venice, but she’s still on the bride’s mind.
The singer is currently touring in Australia, and while she didn’t make it to the big day, Sanchez made sure to let her know she was missed.

Lauren Sanchez sends love to Katy Perry
As Katy Perry shared a June 27 Instagram post from Australia featuring selfies with a quokka, clips with friends, and a photo of her and Orlando Bloom's daughter Daisy, Lauren Sanchez dropped a heartfelt comment.
“We miss you Katy,” Sanchez wrote under the post, signaling the singer’s absence from the wedding.

Though Perry couldn't attend the Venice celebration, she had joined Sanchez’s Parisian bachelorette bash in May alongside Eva Longoria, Kris Jenner, and Kim Kardashian. Sanchez had posted moments from that girls' trip aboard Blue Origin to space on Instagram.

Orlando Bloom arrives in Venice after breakup with Katy Perry
While Katy Perry stayed back on tour, Orlando Bloom, 48, was spotted in Venice arriving for the festivities in all-black sportswear, including gym shorts and a workout vest.

The sighting came just days after TMZ reported Bloom would be attending the event, possibly as a single man, noting, “He’s the life of the party and he’s gonna hit the dance floor hard!” according to a source.
Perry and Bloom recently ended their nine-year relationship, six of which they were engaged. Reports had already hinted at trouble before the split was confirmed last Friday.
Katy Perry stays upbeat amid breakup
Even as her split with Orlando Bloom made headlines, Katy Perry posted a lighthearted update from Australia, captioning her quokka-filled Instagram carousel with “Mood: Quokka.”
An insider told Us Weekly on Wednesday that the pair is handling the separation well.

“They are still very much in touch and co-parenting Daisy together," said the source.
The source added that Bloom took their 4-year-old daughter to meet Perry on her Lifetimes Tour before flying to Venice.
“It’s not messy between them,” the insider noted, suggesting an amicable breakup between the longtime couple.
