"We chose to celebrate our love... in the land of the Gods," they shared in a statement following their wedding.

Krokdal, 27, and Lundgren met in 2019 at a gym in Los Angeles, where she worked as a personal trainer. Since then, they have navigated life's ups and downs together, including Lundgren's battle with kidney cancer, which he publicly disclosed in May 2023.

Despite the challenges, Lundgren praised Krokdal for her unwavering support. "I felt sorry for her... but she's been very good about it and super supportive," he said during an interview, crediting her as a source of strength during difficult times.

Their journey culminating in US citizenship marks a new chapter for the couple, who have endured and triumphed together, with Lundgren describing Krokdal as "like an angel that was sent down to help."
