Leonardo DiCaprio’s GF Vittoria Ceretti aims 'to be Mrs DiCaprio' by diving into his unusual hobby

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Leonardo DiCaprio’s girlfriend, Vittoria Ceretti, is reportedly considering becoming ‘Mrs DiCaprio,’ according to a source close to the couple.

The 26-year-old Italian native began dating the 49-year-old ‘Titanic’ star exclusively last November after their initial connection in August 2023.

While many doubted the longevity of their relationship due to the Oscar-winning star’s casanova reputation, the couple has been growing closer, largely thanks to Ceretti’s efforts, which include embracing his diverse hobbies.

After Vittoria Ceretti's three-year-old marriage to DJ Matteo Milleri ended in January 2023, the Victoria’s Secret Angel was linked with the ‘Inception’ star in August of that year. 

After Us Weekly confirmed them to have gone “exclusive” in November, the lovebirds are growing stronger. Recently, a source close to the couple spilled to In Touch that Ceretti is taking an active interest in dinosaurs and fossils to get closer to the actor. 

DiCaprio’s love for dinosaurs is a fact known among many of his fans. A dedicated collector, the ‘Shutter Island’ star collects dinosaur bones as his hobby. 

“He’s always been obsessed with dinosaurs, collecting them and talking about them. It’s very off-putting to a lot of people because he can go on and on for hours, it’s his thing,” shared the source before adding, “He even has these enormous skulls of dinosaurs at home.”

The buzz around the tinsel town is that DiCaprio has roped in his girlfriend as well to partake in his nerdy pastimes. 

While his hobby is generally considered to be a hobby of the affluent, “many of [Leo’s] previous girlfriends were turned off or weirded out by it all,” shared the source. 

Ceretti, on the other hand, “has embraced it and actually seems to think it’s endearing,” shared the source. The source also suggests that the Italian model’s fondness for fossils “is one of the reasons that things are working so well with them.”

It is not only the dinosaurs that Ceretti has tried to endear herself with but also tried to familiarize herself with DiCaprio’s comic books. The actor is reportedly enamored with comic books, which Ceretti has taken a little more time to warm up to.

The source noted, “She’s made the effort to learn about all his favorite characters and be supportive,” adding the ‘Killers Of The Flower Moon’ star is “also passionate about his comic books, which has taken Vittoria a little longer to get used to.” 

“She is proving she’s very invested in getting to know and love him on every level, she’s not just another trophy girlfriend,” declared the source before commenting, “Her friends are all rolling their eyes because she’s basically making his hobbies her hobbies, and he isn’t doing the same for her.”

While her efforts are not getting appreciated by her friends, the source said that she is smitten and dreams of gracing the elusive role of DiCaprio's wife. 

“But she’s on a mission to be Mrs DiCaprio,” revealed the source and added, “so she’s actually playing this very well because Leo has a very geeky side and anyone that is going to last long-term in his life has to be supportive of that.”

Last year in November, a source close to the couple shared with Us Weekly, “It's going so well that Leo’s actually being exclusive.”

They even gushed, “Vittoria is all he thinks about.”

Further shedding light on their relationship, the source continued, “He says she’s not only gorgeous, but super down-to-earth, and they have a ton in common. She’s not intimidated by his fame at all, she even makes fun of it, ‘the model and the movie star,’” before concluding, “Leo finds it refreshing.”
