Liam Payne's tragic death
Liam Payne was declared dead on Wednesday, October 16, after falling multiple stories from a balcony at the CasaSur Palermo Hotel in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
The Policia Federal Argentina confirmed Payne's death, stating that the singer had "jumped from the balcony" of his hotel room, according to People.
Authorities are continuing the investigation to determine the exact circumstances surrounding his tragic fall, though a preliminary autopsy confirmed that the singer died from multiple injuries, including "internal and external hemorrhages" caused by the impact.
The autopsy report revealed that he sustained 25 injuries "compatible with those caused by a fall from a height," with fatal head trauma and significant hemorrhaging contributing to his death.
