BUENOS AIRES, ARGENTINA: Fans of Liam Payne have found a disturbing detail in the last photo that he posted on social media before his tragic death.
The ‘One Direction’ star died on October 16 in Argentina after falling from the third-floor balcony of a hotel. He was 31 and is survived by his parents, Geoff and Karen Payne, and two sisters, Ruth and Nicola, as well as a 7-year-old son, Bear, whom he shares with ex-girlfriend Cheryl Cole.

Just a few months before his death, Liam Payne had paid tribute to American documentary filmmaker Morgan Spurlock, who died on May 23. Spurlock made the 2013 documentary, ‘One Direction: This Is Us’.
The English singer-songwriter wrote on Instagram, “Rest in peace Morgan Spurlock it was a pleasure working with you," alongside a photo that included the band members of the now dismantled One Direction.

Social media users began commenting on the post again after Payne’s death as one said, “The fact that his last post is with 1D but he’s separated from the other four by Morgan that also left us this year. I know it’s just a coincidence but it seems as foreshadowing.”
Another user pointed out, “The 4 will meet again but at Liam's funeral.”
The third one wrote, “He didn't know, that caption would one day catch up, one day so sooon.”
The fourth user stated, “True, it's kind of creepy. God, I wish this didn’t happen.”
“And ironically, his last post was a picture of the five of them together,” the fifth one noted.
“His very last post being a picture of one direction... I'm sick,” the sixth user added.

Meanwhile, the investigation into Liam Payne's death is still ongoing after he fell 49 ft from the hotel balcony while holidaying with his girlfriend Kate Cassidy.
Alberto Crescenti, head of the state emergency medical system, said, as per The Mirror, “A few minutes later [an] emergency team arrived and confirmed the death of this man who we later learned was from a musical group. He had injuries incompatible with life as a result of his fall. There was no way to do anything.”
A statement was issued by his family that read, “We are heartbroken. Liam will forever live in our hearts and we’ll remember him for his kind, funny and brave soul.”
“We are supporting each other the best we can as a family and ask for privacy and space at this awful time,” it added.
