LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Linda Nolan, a cherished member of the iconic Irish girl group The Nolans, hasdied at the age of 65 after a two-decade battle with breast cancer.
Her family revealed that Nolan's siblings stood by her side during her final moments, according to Mirror.

Nolan’s battle with breast cancer began in 2005 when she was first diagnosed.
Despite overcoming the disease, tragedy struck in 2017 when she was informed the cancer had relapsed, spreading to her pelvis.
Her health challenges grew further in 2020 when the illness advanced.
Throughout her journey, Nolan maintained a positive outlook, openly sharing her struggles and triumphs to raise awareness about cancer.
Her diagnosis in 2017 was discovered in an unexpected way when, while babysitting her grand-nieces, Nolan fell down the stairs and fractured her hip.
Scans revealed a mass in her pelvis, confirming the recurrence of cancer.

Linda Nolan’s proactive approach extended to her own funeral which she carefully planned to ease the burden on her sisters.
She drew inspiration from her late husband, Brian Hudson, who had planned his own funeral before his death in 2007.
“Brian’s funeral was amazing. It’s easier for people left behind," Nolan shared in her autobiography 'From My Heart.'

Nolan chose a pink glitter coffin, symbolizing her love for all things glamorous.
Reflecting on her decision, she humorously remarked, “I am the blingy Nolan.”
She also selected Neil Sedaka’s 'Our Last Song Together' for the service, a heartfelt tribute to her family and late husband.

Linda Nolan’s death has left her sisters and fans heartbroken. Her younger sister, Coleen Nolan, shared an emotional tribute on Instagram, calling Nolan a “beacon of love, kindness, and strength.”
“Her wit, humour, and laughter were infectious. Her presence could light up any room," wrote Coleen.
"Linda had a heart full of compassion and always knew how to bring comfort and joy to those around her. Rest in peace, Linda. You will forever be in our hearts,” she added.

Nolan’s agent, Dermot McNamara, released a heartfelt statement following her death.
“It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Linda Nolan. She passed peacefully, with her loving siblings by her bedside, ensuring she was embraced with love and comfort during her final moments," wrote McNamara.
"Linda’s legacy extends beyond her incredible achievements in music and entertainment. She was a beacon of hope and resilience,” McNamara added.
