LONDON, ENGLAND: Princess of Wales, Kate Middleton, received a standing ovation while attending the Wimbledon men's singles final between Novak Djokovic and Carlos Alcaraz, with her daughter Princess Charlotte.

An enthusiastic cheer and standing ovation greeted Charlotte, 9, and her mother Kate, 42, as they arrived to take their seats at the Royal Box on the Center Court on Sunday, July 14.

Lip reader Jeremy Freeman has now deciphered the touching response of the Princess of Wales—who made her second public appearance following her cancer diagnosis and abdominal surgery in March—following the standing ovation.

Kate did not attend the Saturday women's singles final. Wimbledon chairwoman Debbie Jevans gave Barbora Krejcikova the trophy in her place, per Daily Mail.

The competition saw the defending champion, Carlos Alcaraz, defeat the seasoned Novak Djokovic in three sets, in the attendance of the mother-daughter duo and Kate's sister, Pippa Middleton.

The All-England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club patron, Kate, presented Alcaraz with the singles trophy, who defeated Djokovic, the seven-time Wimbledon champion, to retain his championship.

Lip reader Jeremy Freeman examined Kate and Princess Charlotte's arrival at the Center Court while decoding the conversation between the two.

According to the expert, the mother-of-three allegedly instructed her daughter to "come over here" as they reached their seats in the coveted Royal Box, per The Sun.

The source claimed that Princess Charlotte appeared a little perplexed when Kate led her to her assigned seats, with Pippa trailing closely behind.

The future Queen then thanked the woman who had accompanied them and waved to the cheering audience, who had come to their feet to applaud the two Princesses.

The Princess of Wales greeted the onlookers with a "hi" before turning towards the woman standing next to her, Deborah Jevans, exclaiming, "So sweet."

Kate made an emotional and rare public appearance amidst her cancer treatment, to a resounding round of applause. Princess Charlotte beamed proudly and waved to her mother, who was visibly touched.

Photographer Karwai Tang, who captured the endearing moment, told People: "When [Kate] usually comes in, she walks down the steps and into her seat. She doesn’t normally stand and wave. But she stood for a while and took it all in. For her to acknowledge it and take in the applause was special."
