The singer, known for hits like 'Good as Hell,' revealed that she has reached her weight release goal, a feat she hadn’t accomplished since 2014.

"I did it. Today when I stepped on my scale, I reached my weight release goal," Lizzo wrote on Instagram on January 25, alongside a mirror selfie.

"I haven’t seen this number since 2014! Let this be a reminder you can do anything you put your mind to. Time for new goals!"

While Lizzo did not disclose her weight, past or present, she noted that she had lost 16 per cent of her body fat.

She shared her mindset about the journey on TikTok, saying, "I am actually on an intentional weight loss journey right now."

"Even at the end of my weight loss journey, I'm not going to be considered thin by any means. I will still be considered morbidly obese on the BMI and little bros on the internet are still going to call me 'big backed.' But I will be happy," she further wrote, according to E! News.

She continued, "Let this be a reminder that you can do anything—anything you set your mind to. Now, I guess it's time to set new goals."

Lizzo first revealed her body transformation in September 2024 on social media, accompanied by insights into how she achieved her goals.

She also took the opportunity to dismiss speculation about the use of weight-loss medications such as Ozempic.

"When you finally get Ozempic allegations," Lizzo captioned an Instagram post shortly after debuting her new look "after 5 months of weight training and calorie deficit."

She humorously added, "It’s that time of year where I feed y’all so ridiculously, and you’re so very welcome, baby." Lizzo also posted another story with the caption, "LizzOzempic dump."
